Ned Benjamin has been my compdoc for all of my four years of living over here. Because he is quick and calm in responding to any imagined crisis I have called him out to, he has always got me up and running so that I can keep ‘playing’ in Word and send out my weekly arts articles to Lanzarote Information. I have needed a blog for some time but I am always terrified of stepping out of my tiny comfort zone in any way, but once I took the plunge and sought Ned’s advice I realised what it is that makes him so good at what he does. A quick consultation about the work I do, what I wanted to achieve and the nature of what I call a business but is really a compulsive hobby saw the site taking shape before my eyes. Ned was quick to tweak anything I wanted in a slightly different shape or colour or layout and suddenly there was aata.dev and I was ready for ‘lessons.’ What Ned did really well was facilitate those couple of brief sessions to my bespoke requirements whilst somehow also showing me that it is ok to get lost and that there is no need to panic. With two lap tops, a desk top, and pods and pads and phones in the house, and with our friends in the UK and our family in South Korea, Ned keeps us connected to the world without making us feel antiquated. He’s one of the good guys.

I want to do a BIG SHOUT OUT to NED BENJAMIN!!! He has just successfully fixed both my Husbands lap-top AND my Samsung Galaxy 4!! I had been told by Telefonica (Movistar office in Tias) that my phone was a goner, and at first, even Ned wasn’t hopeful! Ted and I were having the grand debate on what we replaced first, and Telefonica have NO OFFERS so would have been about 400 for my phone! Then goodness knows how much for a lap-top. Suddenly, Ned calls out, All Done…and Both phone and lap-top as good as new! Very reasonable rates too as he was here for more than 2 hours in total! THANKS,
